Hi, I'm Harry. Owner of Studio U.

Hairdressing has been the constant in my life, but it hasn’t been the only chapter.

Over the years I’ve stepped in and out of the industry. I’ve taught. I’ve performed.

I even worked as a police officer during the pandemic. Each experience shaped me. They gave me perspective, resilience and a deeper understanding of people. And somehow, I always found my way back to hair.

I’ve been fortunate to win national and global industry awards, work backstage at fashion weeks, lead editorial photoshoots and collaborate on brand campaigns. Those moments matter. They’ve pushed my creativity and technical standards. But what matters more to me now is how that experience translates to the person sitting in my chair.

I opened Studio U. because I wanted to create a space that felt intentional.

Calm, but ambitious. Boutique rather than busy. A place where consultation is real, sessions aren’t rushed, and individuality is protected.

My work is rooted in precision, proportion and honesty. I care about how your hair lives day to day, not just how it photographs. I’ll always prioritise condition and long term integrity over quick fixes.

Breaking out on my own has brought freedom and responsibility in equal measure. Studio U. reflects who I am now. Experienced, reflective and still quietly ambitious.

Above all, I want you to feel safe, understood and confident when you leave.

I’ve been in the hair industry for over 15 years now, which feels slightly surreal to say out loud. What’s kept me here all this time is simple. I genuinely love it. I love the people, the creativity, the constant evolution. No two days ever feel the same.

My focus has always been on creating hair that feels personal. Not just something that looks good on Instagram, but something that feels like you. I take the time to really listen and understand how you wear your hair, how much effort you want to put in, what makes you feel confident. I think the best results come from collaboration. When a client feels heard, everything else falls into place.

I’m big on building long term relationships. I want my chair to feel relaxed and safe, somewhere you can switch off for a couple of hours and trust that you’re in good hands. Over the years, many of my clients have become more than just appointments in the diary. That means a lot to me.

Technically, I’m meticulous. Every cut and colour is carefully considered and tailored to suit your features, lifestyle and personality. I also specialise in hair extensions, including weaves, tapes and nano bonds, and I love how transformative they can be when applied thoughtfully and seamlessly.

I’m always exploring new ideas and refining my craft, and I enjoy documenting my work through photography. For me, it’s not just about hair. It’s about helping people feel like the best version of themselves when they walk out the door.

I’ve been in the industry for over 12 years now, working independently and building a career centred around colour. It’s my thing. Whether it’s soft dimension, bold transformations or correcting something that’s gone a bit wrong somewhere else, I love the technical side of it and the creativity that comes with it.

A defining part of my journey was my time in Australia, where I spent 18 months working as a senior stylist for Stefans. I originally went out travelling and only planned to stay short term, but after three months in the salon I was offered sponsorship. I chose to take it, and that chapter shaped me in more ways than I expected. It pushed me creatively and professionally, and gave me a deeper confidence in both my skill set and myself.

I’m proud to be a member of the L’Oréal ID Artist 2026 collective, which has pushed me to refine my skills even further and think bigger about what I can offer both in the salon and beyond. Education has always been a huge part of who I am. I was part of the Fellowship Project Colour team in 2024, and I’m now mentor support for 2025 working alongside Zoe Irwin. Being able to guide and support other stylists as they grow feels like a natural progression for me. I’m always learning, always evolving, and I genuinely love helping others do the same.

Colour aside, I’m also a big believer in making the salon feel accessible and welcoming for everyone. As a mum, I know how hard it can be to carve out time for yourself, so I actively encourage new mothers to bring their babies along to appointments. You shouldn’t have to choose between looking after yourself and looking after your little one. If that means a feed mid blow dry or a pram parked next to my chair, that’s absolutely fine by me.

I’ve built a strong presence on social media because I enjoy sharing my work and the process behind it. Creating content lets me connect with clients and other stylists in a way that feels current and honest.

At the heart of it all, I just love what I do. Creating beautiful colour, supporting other artists, and making people feel confident when they leave my chair. That’s what keeps me inspired.

If you’d like to book, just pop me a message on Instagram and we’ll arrange everything from there.

I’ve been in the industry for over 10 years, training and working as a TONI&GUY stylist, and that foundation really shaped the way I work. Precision matters to me. Clean lines, considered shapes, hair that falls exactly how it should. Cutting is definitely where my heart is.

I specialise in precision cuts and glossy, long lasting blow dries, but I also offer nano keratin treatments for clients who want smoother, more manageable hair without losing movement. I love seeing the difference it makes. Hair that feels stronger, healthier and easier to live with day to day.

Over the years I’ve built some really special relationships with my clients. I think when you’ve been seeing someone’s hair journey for years, you understand them properly. How they style it, what they struggle with, what makes them feel confident. Every appointment is tailored. No copy and paste hair here.

Outside the salon, I’m big on balance. I love going to the gym. It clears my head and keeps me focused. And I have a large family who mean everything to me. We’re close, slightly loud at times, but always supportive. That sense of connection carries into how I work. I want my chair to feel welcoming and grounded.

For me, it’s not just about great hair. It’s about helping people feel like the best version of themselves, in a space where they feel comfortable, understood and looked after.
